YOUNG AUTHORS
At Boyd H. Anderson High School we have a plethora of talented young authors, many who wish to have their work published, but don't know how to do so. Just submit your final draft via email to our Young Authors Staff.
To get us started, we are showcasing a few riddle poems from the young authors in Mrs. Wetzel's Journalism and IB classes.

The keeper that is kept,
but outlives the ephemeral.
With its peers it forms the font,
that nourishes all,
who are willing to draw.
The invisible treasure,
limited not even by the cosmos,
yet nowhere to be found.
The guardian of the ages,
yet skewed by man's hand
and his mind--which is flawed.
Le Chat
By Kristen Nguyen, Emily Urdaneta,
Jasmine Williamson, Unzelha Khan, and
Julian Gordon
In a quiet abode-
She gracefully glides,
With a gentle caress
She releases her hum.
Staying clear of the lurking predator
who growls and grumbles-
She stealthily returns to her
Carpeted tower.

Apple Device
by
Chelsea Balckmon, Berenique Carroll, and Bernadette Foster
A fruit consumed by many,
Lightweight-
Producing sonorous ecstasy,
Vibrant in color--
Varying in size.
It is always hand held, though
Pleasure to the human eye,
Multiple slices of visual pleasure-
Electrifies your senses until it's dead.
